Proverbs 15:5 NASB "A fool rejects his father’s discipline, But he who complies with rebuke is sensible."Sometimes we could laugh about it but other times it was a painful reminder to listen to his wisdom! Today, we read about a fool rejecting his father! There were times when it was over that we could laugh at my silly mistakes of not listening to my father's advice. Then there were the times when the lesson learned about not listening would bring a painful result. While not all fathers will share their wisdom with their children, God has given us so much wisdom through His Word, that we shouldn't be foolish by not reading and meditating upon it. As I look back, and think of the wisdom my dad tried to share with me many times, I always come away thanking God that sometimes the wisdom made me a better father. Let's make sure we are not fools when it comes to the wisdom of God our Father but learn the lessons and pass them on! peace, tom ​
