John 16:22 NASB "Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one is going to take your joy away from you."It had been years! Today's Word speaks to us about a joy that will not end! We had built a great friendship over the years but had lost track of each other along the way of life. When we ran into each other, we hugged and laughed as we spoke of the many good times we had together. In life, we may have some dark days, the loss of a loved one, the pain of failure but when we have a good friend, we can hold tight to the joy that comes from the memories. A good friend can be found in Jesus. He will be there for us in good times and in bad and bring a joy that the world will never understand. Don't go through life alone, build relationships that last the test of time. And when we see them again, remember the joy and laugh a bit or too for life can become too serious! peace, tom
