1 Corinthians 2:14 NASB "But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." Please explain it to me, one more time! Today's Word tells us why we can't understand the ways of God or even accept them! He had already explained it to me about four times when I had to ask him to do it one more time. He was trying to teach me a new position at the plant I was working at. He had gone over the operation a few times but I just couldn't understand it. He began to talk a little slower, explaining each step, and the concept behind why it was done this way - I finally understood. Sometimes reading God's Word can lead us to ask "why" or to try and find someone to explain it to us. We can ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us, and we can find a godly man or two to help us understand. The key is not giving up until we understand, no matter how many times we need to hear it! peace, tom
