Lamentations 3:21 ESV "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope"He lost any hope in mankind and himself! Today's verse reminds us to keep in mind the things of the Lord where we always have hope! He had some medical difficulties but that was nothing compared to the mental struggles he was having. Although people tried to help him, encouraged him, come beside him, he had lost hope. A simple four letter word that can make the difference between being alive and just going through the motions. Without hope, he was justing waiting to die and die he did. When we don't have Jesus we are left to navigate this world without hope. Hope for a better tomorrow, hope that relationships will grow, hope that gives us the thought of a new Way, His Way. Let's call to mind what His Word says, how the Holy Spirit can comfort us and find the hope that lies with knowing Christ! peace, tom
