Proverbs 12:11 "One who works his land will have plenty of bread, But one who pursues worthless things lacks sense."I had to make the choice! Today's Word speaks to us about our work habits, and how they should be sensible! I had planned on working in my garden, when I got the call to go hang out with a few buddies of mine. I knew that I needed to get the work done in the garden, so I had to choose work or play. When I looked back at the work I did, I felt a sense of pride that I did the work and didn't just goof off for the day. The choice to work and work hard, rather than blow off the day, can be a difficult one today but when we see tomorrow and the fruits of our labor, we will know we made the right choice. Choosing Jesus and spending time in His Word may seem difficult at first but when we look back on it, we may see that it was the right choice. It always comes down to choice so let's choose well today! peace, Tom
