Today 4-27-2023

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NASB "Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing." As I drove around the corner, I was surprised at what I saw! Today's Word is about encouraging each other! There he stood, maybe 3 feet tall, and as I drove by, he waved! He had the biggest smile you ever saw, I had to wave back. No, I do not know who he was, or why he was standing there but that simple wave brought a smile to my face and a warmness to my heart. The world isn't all bad, I thought to myself. Here was a small child, giving encouraging waves to all those who drove by and a smile to say "hang in there". No matter what we are  facing, we can be encouragers to others around us. A simple wave, a smile that says we care, a helping hand not looking for anything in return. Small gestures to let others know that we care. peace, tom
