Matthew 21:9 NASB "Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”"We can almost see him! Today's verse is what they cheered for when they knew the Messiah was coming to their town! As we stood in line, people began to cheer. One of our hometown sports stars was coming and the people were excited to see him. As he walked by, the cheers went up, shouts of excitement filled the air and the chant that he was a greatest could be heard above the noise. As we walked away, I remember thinking to myself that "if only we cheered Jesus like that!" What our sports team hero's do for us is nothing compared to what Jesus did and does for us - maybe we should give up a cheer for Him by how we live?! Just saying! peace, tom
