Habakkuk 2:3 NASB "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long."The wait seemed to last forever! Today's verse speaks to us about keeping the vision alive as we wait and it will come! Standing at the end of a dry fire hose and waiting for water can feel like an eternity. As I stood in front of a house on fire, I waited and waited for the hose to be charged. It eventually came and we put the fire out but the challenge was to be patient and wait and believe it was going to come. In life, there will be times when our vision, our goal may seem to be far off. The waiting can get us to even question if what we are waiting for is even worth it - but if it's God who gave us the vision, hold strong and He will see it through so be faithful in our waiting! peace, tom
