Romans 5:3 NASB "And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;"Definitely easier said than done! Today we read that we are to celebrate our tribulations for they will bring us perseverance. As I sat in the dentist chair once again, I knew the pain that was about to come as they were going to pull 4 teeth. I remember thinking to myself, I should have asked to be knocked out but I didn't. Half way through, I had to ask them to stop for the pain was getting too great to bear. I took a moment and asked God to get me through it, not take it away - I knew that the pain was teaching me a lesson to take better care of my teeth. Sometimes the struggles and the pain get too great, it's then we can reach out to God and ask for a a little encouragement to keep going. A year later and I have new teeth and they feel great and I've forgotten all about the pain! Stay strong and when we need help, cry out, yell out, scream out to God and He will see us through! peace, tom
