Luke 1:79 EVS "to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”While it has been awhile, I still remember! Today's verse is about light and darkness, which one are we leading people to?! I can still recall every moment when we found them and led them out of the fire building. Victims trapped in the smoke and darkness waiting for someone to help them out. Men and woman have been and will continue to lead those trapped in darkness out to safety. As a firefighter, I was honored to do so and now as a pastor, I am humbled to do it again but leading others to the Light of Christ. No matter how dark things got, our crew worked tirelessly to find those trapped and lead them to safety. The question is, what are we doing to bring light to those sitting in darkness... peace, tom
