Proverbs 22:6 NASB "Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it." I never knew that! Today's verse tells us to train up our children when they are young and as they grow older, they will not forget it! Most people have never heard of Maewyn Succat but they will know St. Patrick! They are one in the same, the same person, just a name change along the way of his life. I'll bet years from now, we won't forget that - it's about learning, and keeping the knowledge in our minds and hearts that help us be better tomorrow than we were today. When we teach a child something, and repeat it often, the chances of them remembering it later in life goes up. The question we need to ask ourselves is... what are we teaching the children?! I pray that the Word of God is something we are passing along to the next generation so they can teach others the same! peace, tom
