Romans 8:18 NASB "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
I never thought it would happen to me! Today's Word speaks to us about dealing with pain and suffering and how they can not be compared to the glory that awaits us. I could hardly get out of bed, the pain was great and the swelling of my joints had reached a point that made a normal day seem impossible. I began to pray, asking God to take them away but I didn't feel or hear His Response so I thought to myself, there must be a reason. Then I thought about all those who are in worse shape than I. Those struggling to take a breath, those who had lost a loved one during the night, those whose children had gone astray - that's when it hit me, I maybe having a rough day but there are others there too. I stopped praying for myself and began to pray for those on my prayer list! You see, it's not about us but about others! One day there will be no more pain! peace, tom ​
