Isaiah 41:10 NASB ""Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’"I could see it in his eyes! Today's verse speaks to us about fear and where to turn when the fear gets too much! As we stepped off the rig to enter the building on fire, the rookie on my crew, was right by my side. I told him to stay with me as we began to carry the hose into the house. When I looked at him, his face shown the fear of entering the fire building, we all had that the first time we entered a fire building. I assured him that as long as he stayed by my side, we would get out alive! Many times in life, we will find ourselves in fear and anxiety will try to take over our lives but if we have Jesus with us, by our side, we have nothing to fear. There is a side of fear we all need to have and that's a healthy respect, a sense of awe when it comes to the things of God - the question is, do we, do we respect the awesomeness of God?! peace, tom
