Nahum 1:7 NASB "The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him."I've been there! Today's verse speaks to us about our Lord, how He is good, a stronghold when we are in trouble! I have been in trouble many times, some by circumstances and some by my own bad choices but in each situation, I knew the ones who I could call on to help me out. We all have those situations, days, or moments when we need a stronghold to help get us out of the trouble we are in and there is no better place than calling out to our God. First off, He sends His Spirit, the Comforter, to be with us to give us strength to get through the trouble. Then He sends godly men or woman into our life to help us along. Let's not try to do it alone, but reach out to Christ, and a brother or sister in the Lord, to help us find refuge from the trouble - and of course let's learn from it. To keep repeating it, expecting different results is just plain insanity. Don't go crazy, let's go to God! peace, tom
