2 Chronicles 15:7 NASB "But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is a reward for your work."If it was easy, everyone would be doing it! Today's verse teaches us not to lose our courage but to be strong! No sooner did we start the job when one of the new guys began to falter. I asked him if he was ok, and what the problem was. His reply was rather simple but truthful "I'm not sure I can do this" - it doesn't really matter what job we are called to do but what matters is how we do it. After much encouragement, the man found the strength to do the job and he did an excellent job. As we walked away from the job site, I could see he was happy he stayed and found the courage to get the job done! Let's not give up or lose the courage to do the right thing. We find our strength in the Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, and the encouragement of friends! peace, Tom
