Romans 15:1 NASB "Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves."It took just a minute! Today we learn that if we are strong, we ought to help those in need! They are everywhere, we just need to open our eyes to the opportunity to help. Walking an elderly person to their car, helping a single mom with her groceries, shoveling the walk of a neighbor, praying with anyone anywhere. She tried to carry the two bags from the grocery store but her crippled hands wouldn't allow it. As she struggled, people passed and just kept on walking. I took the time, just a minute of my day, and took her bags for her. She was grateful and when the groceries were in the car, and she in the seat, she called me to lean in closer. She took my hand and prayed for me. I came away with a blessing! It only takes a moment to help someone in need but that's if our focus is on someone other than ourselves! peace, tom
