2 Samuel 22:7 NASB "In my distress I called upon the Lord, Yes, I called out to my God; And from His temple He heard my voice, And my cry for help came into His ears." Help! Today we read that in our distress, we can call out to God. It was a simple text, all it said was "help" - so I immediately called him to see if he was ok. One of our neighbors is having health problems to the point where he has trouble moving around. He had fallen and couldn't get up so he called for help. To often, we struggle with asking for help, like it's a sign of weakness. We need to realize that we all need a little help, maybe even a lot of help from time to time and asking for it isn't something we should be ashamed of. We should feel blessed that we have others in our life willing to come and help but they need to know we need it. Asking God for help in our times of struggles, trials and temptations isn't weakness but strength - so don't be afraid to cry out - He will hear us and others will too! peace, tom
