Romans 5:8 NASB "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." It's hard to imagine that they could despite what we do. Today the Word speaks about love and despite being a sinner, Christ died for us. We've all done things that have hurt other people, and yet they still love us. I had let my anger, my temper cause many pain but through it all, they loved me. I am sure each of us have those moments when we have done wrong, sinned, hurt others and yet they love us still. God is the same way, that while we were sinners, He sent His Son to take our place on the Cross. As we inch toward the celebration of His Birth, may we be reminded that despite our sin, Jesus still came. In fact, it was the reason He came - to set us free - Let's make sure we love on those who have hurt us and find peace this Christmas season with those who we still hold a grudge! peace, tom
