James 1:3 NASB "knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance." I'm sure we have all heard "if at first we don't succeed, try try again!". Today's verse speaks of testing and how that should produce endurance in our life. When I turned the valve on, the leak was still there. Learning to solder pipes, I had to keep going back and forth to make sure that it didn't leak. Only through the testing did I find out if my joints would hold. Testing can be a pain but if we learn from it, then it will produce endurance in our life. Over and over isn't a bad thing if we learn the lessons. Don't give up but keep trying, keep giving our best and one day, we will pass the test. The key is not giving up at the first sign of trouble but getting stronger with each attempt to get it right! No matter what it is, keep trying!  peace, tom
