Ecclesiastes 3:13 ESV "also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man."To enjoy the sweat of our brow! Today's verse is about enjoyment and how work is a gift from God. It was the end of the day and we just sat there and looked back at what we accomplished. It had been a long week of building, putting walls up, getting the roof on, buttoning it up for the weather. When you can find joy in the work that we do, then we know and can understand today's verse. Work shouldn't be chore, or something we don't like to do but it should be a blessing, a gift from God. If we aren't looking at it that way, maybe it's time we find a job or occupation that brings us joy and glory to God. Don't be afraid to make the change needed to get us to the place where work is a pleasure in our life! peace, tom
