Psalm 130:5 NASB "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His Word." It has happened 6 times and I get to do it again! Today's Word is about waiting for the Lord! As we enter the season called Advent, I am reminded of waiting - waiting to celebrate our Lord's Birth. It brought to mind the 6 times I waited for a child to be born, our three daughters and our three grandchildren. And recently with the news of another grandchild on the way, the wait begins again. As we begin our wait for Christmas, may we use the time wisely to prepare our hearts for the celebration of His Birth and what it means, what HE means in our life. There will be opportunities to share what it means to receive the greatest gift of all. May we keep the reason for the season first and foremost in our lives and with others! peace, tom
