Titus 3:1 NASB "Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed," I didn't vote for him or her! Today's verse reminds us that even though we may not have voted for a particular person, we should still be open to accepting them, as long they don't go against God's Law. With Election Day behind us, I thought it may be a good idea to take a moment and step back, breath and see what God's Word says about those who have been elected. We may not agree with every part of their platform but they have been elected and now it's up to us to pray for them, stand ready to work for the benefit of all and if we strongly disagree, it maybe time for us to think about running for a political office. But in the meantime, we need to be subject to them, to be obedient (as long as it's doesn't go against God's Law) and be ready to help when called upon. Find the positive rather than the negative -it's what Jesus sees in us! peace, tom
