1 Samuel 12:16 NASB "Even now, take your stand and see this great thing which the Lord is going to do before your eyes."Don't blink! Today's verse tells us to learn to see the great things of the Lord! Traveling this thing called life, at record speeds , can cause us to lose sight of the important things. While traveling back home from a vacation, I was speeding as fast as I can to get home but missed some of the beauty of this country that God created. I began to slow down, take a good look as we drove by the many sights of His Majesty, then I got to thinking about the loved ones in my life - am I rushing around trying to do this and that, that I miss the blessings right around me. Maybe it's time to slow down, stand still and see what the great things of the Lord in our life?! Let's not miss His Greatness in our attempt to move so fast! peace, tom
