Matthew 4:7 NASB "Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written: ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’"Believe me, it will work! Today's Word is one of Jesus' response to satan as he tempted Him in the wilderness. After getting it completed, the man said it was all set to go. I found myself not believing him and wanted to test it out but his response was "believe me, it will work!" I had to put my faith into the man's ability, his skill to do the job and do it right but so often we find ourselves not believing and wanting to test it out. When I put it into action, it worked fine. Many times, we need to trust and we need to learn to trust - two different things! We can always put our trust in God without putting Him to the test! The question is... do we believe God and leave it at that?! peace, Tom
