2 Corinthians 1:4 NASB "who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."It's never easy! Today we read how we can comfort others because God will comfort us! Whether it's forgiving a friend who have hurt us, or going back to a church that may have caused us pain, or telling your spouse "I am sorry", finding comfort in Christ can help us move forward to first heal ourselves and then be a comfort to someone else. He had been hurt, deeply hurt and didn't want to come to a church ever again. As we sat and talked, I shared that it wasn't God who hurt him but man. We talked about not letting the hurt of man ruin his relationship with God. One day I saw him come in to service and by the smile on his face I knew he had found comfort in our conversation. Let God comfort us today so we may comfort others tomorrow! peace, tom
