Philippians 3:14 NASB "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."Halfway just wouldn't cut it! Today we read about pressing forward, keeping our eye on the prize for the upward call of God! It was years ago that I started a project but never got it finished. I kept finding excuses to leave it half done. Each time I walked past it made me feel as if I was a failure or that I just wasn't committed enough to getting it done. Finally, one day, I had had enough of my own excuses and got to work and finished what I had started. There was a great sense of accomplishment now, each time I walked by it! We need to finish what God has called us to do. Not halfway but all the way, till the very end. Jesus stated from the Cross as He took our sin upon His Shoulders...IT IS FINISHED!   May that be our battle cry as we go about the work God has called us to! peace, tom
