Ephesians 4:2-3 NASB "With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."We agreed to disagree! Today's Word speaks of humility, patience, gentleness, unity and peace. As the discussion went on, we found ourselves at an impasse. Holding our own beliefs and not wanting to give in, we found middle ground. Many times, when disagreements come, we lose sight of the fact that we can agree to disagree. BUT, there are certain things that we must not give in on, like our relationship with Jesus Christ. The discussion was about who will be in heaven and who will not but we agreed that to keep arguing over the Word wasn't getting us any where. As we left each other, we prayed for each other - that's finding peace in the situation. Let's strive for unity but not at the cost of giving in our beliefs in Christ! peace, tom
