1Timothy 4:15 ESV "Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress." The first time I tried, I wasn't even close! Today's verse speaks of being persistent, eventually we will see growth! When learning a new process at work, I was taught the how to but when I tried to put it into practice, I came up short. The instructor allowed me time to learn, time to practice until I could do the job with efficiency. We may not get it on our first try but giving up shouldn't be an option. We must keep trying, keep practicing until we master it. No matter what we are trying to learn, giving up only teaches us laziness, but by trying over and over again, we will see the progress we need to grow. Families, marriages, church growth will only come about when we keep moving forward. Let's not give up too soon and miss the progress! peace, tom
