Proverbs 14:23 NASB "In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty."It was time! Today's Word tells us about the difference between profit and loss! We had the meetings, plans were drawn up and it was time to put into action all we talked about. We were hired to do a job, and after many meetings, hours of talking, it was time to implement that plan. As we began to set a date to do the work, the excuses came - I can't make it, I have too much to do on my own, etc. When we talk the talk, we must be willing to walk the walk or we are just clanging gongs with no purpose in clanging! When some of the men got together and did the job, we walked away knowing we did what we were asked to do and felt good about the job we did. The question is... are we just all talk or are we willing to get to work?! peace, tom
