Today 1-3-2024

Matthew 19:25 NASB "And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Who would have thought it possible?! Today's Word is one of those we need to memorize and hold on to as we face the new year. It seemed impossible to me to let go of the anger but once I let God take over, things changed. I had never read or heard the bible verse that says "be angry but do not sin". When I began to meditate upon His Word, that particular verse, I found strength to be angry but not sin. I had done enough of that sinning for years. I tried this and that, you know the counting to ten, walking away from the situation, etc, but I always found that those things only lasted a little while. Letting God take control made the difference. Don't let man say we can't but let God say we can and will! peace, tom
