Today 1-1-2026

Proverbs 16:9 NASB "The mind of a person plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps."I never thought I'd end up here! Today's Word speaks of making plans but how the Lord will direct our steps. As I reflected upon last year, and many years before that, I came to the conclusion that it was God who was directing where I was going. I thought I'd be retiring from the Fire Service, give up building houses, and shut down my "handy man" business but over 20 years ago, that all ended early and God had another plan for my life. It's not the end of 2025 but the beginning of 2026 - and if we keep focus on Him, He will direct our paths, and ya' never know where He will take us. The greatest adventure is allowing Him to lead us into the new year, so sit back, give God the reins and let Him direct our steps. Happy and Blessed New Year! peace, tom
