Today 1-1-2024

Colossians 3:17 NASB "Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father." Well it's here! Today's verse is a great motto to have for the coming year! Happy New Year! It almost seems incredible that 2024 is here. The past year has been laid to rest, may we lay to rest all of the past baggage that we carry and look forward to what God has in store for us this year. It will not be without times of struggle, failures, difficulties but it will also be a year of accomplishments, success and getting through the struggles. It all depends on who we depend upon. God wants nothing more than to bless us, maybe this year is the year we let Him?! I always look forward to the New Year because I haven't sinned there yet! Just imagine if we really lived today's verse - doing everything in the name of the Lord - seems impossible but if we have God with us, all things are possible!
